Designed as a smaller sibling to the much-admired NRH\u00a0 <\/span>deep subsoiler the \u201cQuake\u201d the \u201cTremor\u201d, as the name suggests is designed to move the earth in a gentler way but not forfeit any of the strength and durability that NRH is renowned for.\u00a0 <\/span>Designed from the ground up the new Tremor looks to set a benchmark for performance, versatility and strength at an affordable price.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Front Discs<\/b><\/p>\n

      450mm diameter notched, straight front cutting discs are mounted on a hydraulically depth adjustable bar. These\u00a0cut through the soil surface ahead of the low disturbance legs to minimise soil disruption and germination of dormant seeds.<\/p>\n

      LD Legs<\/b><\/p>\n

      The staggered layout of the low disturbance legs allows for easy trash flow through the machine, this reduces tractor power requirement and in turn fuel consumption. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The 3m wide version of the Tremor comes as standard with 6 low disturbance legs at a spacing of 500mm, however the machine is configurable with 5 or 7 legs thus allowing for 430 to 600mm leg spacing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      There are three leg options for the Tremor, two at 15mm wide and one at 20mm all made from HARDOX500\u00ae.\u00a0 <\/span>The STX and GRX points are available with 120mm or 150mm wide wings, tungsten tips and the option of Tungsten wings to enhance durability and ensure consistent soil lift through the lifetime of the point.\u00a0 <\/span>The GLX points are available in two widths; 115mm and 150mm and attach to the 20mm leg.\u00a0 <\/span>Tungsten and non-tungsten options are available in the GLX.<\/p>\n

      All leg and point systems are designed to minimise soil disruption at the surface whilst providing good soil loosening and drainage at depths between 150 and 250mm depth.\u00a0 <\/span>The ability to change to differing wing widths further enhances the versatility of the Tremor in differing soil conditions.<\/p>\n

      650mm Steel Tensioned Packer\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

      The ring sections on the STP-650 packer are castellated allowing the roller to turn in light and medium soils and the aggressive rib and shoulder profile leaves an excellent consolidated weatherproof finish in all soil types.\u00a0 <\/span>Rings are spaced at 190mm but can be specified closer if required.<\/p>\n

      750mm Diameter Toothed Packer<\/b><\/p>\n

      Staggered rows of 12mm steel teeth are welded to a 600mm diameter barrel to give an overall diameter of 750mm. The packer roller leaves an aerated, consolidated and level finish which will aid surface aeration and surface penetration of water. The teeth ensure the packer turns to stop soil smear. The packer roller closes the surface after the legs to leave the soil largely undisturbed. It can be ballasted for extra consolidation.<\/p>\n

      Hydraulic Depth Control<\/b><\/p>\n
