The Quake is our premium range of low-draft subsoilers, expertly designed and built in the UK to tackle the deep challenges posed by modern, heavy farming methods.
QUAKE
Premium Performance
Our unique ‘V’ configuration delivers superior efficiency by preparing the soil ahead of the following tines, significantly outperforming traditional single-beam designs.
Invest in a machine crafted for long-lasting durability and minimal maintenance, ensuring your investment stands the test of time.
Hydraulic Auto-Reset
Eliminates shear bolts, saving downtime and allowing greater forward speeds.
Adjustable Pressure System
Flexibly copes with varying ground conditions without stopping work.
S355 High-Tensile Steel
Ensures maximum frame durability and stress resistance.
Strength & Engineering Commitment
The Quake is built for maximum durability and minimal maintenance. The main V-configured frame utilises S355 high tensile box section (300mm x 200mm x 10mm), precision Mig welded throughout, creating one of the most robust machines on the market. All wearing parts, including the HARDOX500 ® legs, are crafted from specialist quenched and tempered materials for easy replacement and an extended service life.
Performance & Precision Control
Efficiency is driven by the choice of leg protection: either a simple, tool-free Shear Bolt system or the premium Hydraulic Auto-Reset which eliminates downtime and allows for greater forward speeds. The rear packer depth is controlled hydraulically from the cab, allowing the operator to make on-the-fly adjustments for ultimate control and optimal soil management in varying ground conditions, with optional front discs also available.
SPECIFICATIONS
Uncompromising Strength
The main V-configured frame is engineered for ultimate durability, constructed from S355 high tensile box section measuring a substantial 300mm x 200mm x 10mm wall thickness. Precision Mig welding is used throughout the frame, ensuring this machine is built to handle the most demanding ground conditions and stress loads, securing its place as one of the most durable subsoilers on the market.
Optimised Soil Flow
The Quake is available with 3, 4, 5, or 7 legs, staggered and spaced between 600mm – 900mm. This configuration is key to reducing power requirement and fuel consumption by allowing for easy trash flow through the machine. The legs are available in 25mm HARDOX500 ® as standard, with associated cast point and 200mm wide wings.
Zero Downtime
Leg protection offers two options: a simple, tool-free Shear Bolt system for easy, on-field replacement; or the premium Hydraulic Auto-Reset. The Auto-Reset system completely eliminates the use of shear bolts, significantly reducing downtime and enabling greater forward speeds. The adjustable hydraulic pressure system allows the machine to effortlessly cope with varying ground conditions.
Precision from the Cab
The Quake features hydraulic depth control on the rear packer, managed by two cylinders. This critical function allows the operator to make instant, on-the-fly adjustments from the tractor cab. This precise control over working depth (up to 620mm) is vital for adapting to changing field conditions and maximising the effectiveness of the subsoiling operation.
Consolidated & Weatherproof Finish
The machine offers two heavy-duty packer choices. The 610mm PRR Packer features castellated Boron Steel rings for reliable turning in all soils, leaving a consolidated and weatherproof finish. Alternatively, the larger 750mm Diameter Toothed Packer uses staggered 12mm steel teeth to ensure rotation and aid surface aeration, leaving the soil largely undisturbed while closing the surface.
